Jutta Wunder has earned a Master of Arts in German linguistics and literature, literature production, art history, and theater from the Free University Berlin and a German Chamber of Industry and Commerce degree as bookseller. Her interest in the creation, organization and distribution of information and knowledge was further nourished by her professional career as public relations specialist for cultural institutions and bookseller in an academic bookstore. Since January 2007 she is a graduate student in the OU Library and Information Studies program and has a graduate assistant position as librarian and evaluator at the OU Department of Physics and Astronomy for the NSF-supported digital library comPADRE, a NSDL pathway.
